The JAMSTAR team (in alphabetical order):

Kyra Boback is an Aerospace Engineering senior from Louisville, Kentucky.  She is the president of Florida Tech’s AIAA student chapter, and has been its Secretary and E-Week Representative in the past. She will be heading up Florida Tech’s AIAA Wright Flyer project this fall.  Kyra wants to eventually study Engineering Management and work for NASA or another aerospace company using her knowledge gained at Florida Tech.  Resume

Emanuel Brown is an Aerospace Engineering senior originally from Little Rock, Arkansas.  He is the former presidentof NSBE and a current member of Student Government, CSA, NSBE, MMBC Music department, and SWE (so he says). When Manny is not studying to send his friends up into space, he enjoys playing his saxophone, writing and presenting poety, and spending special time with special people. His ideal job would be as a Launch Specialist at KSC.

Corey Calvert is a Meteorology senior in only his third year at Florida Tech, and is originally from Jacksonville, FL.  He loves sports, especially soccer, running, volleyball, and ultimate frisbee.  He played soccer for Florida Tech in 2002.  After finishing his degree in Meteorology, he plans on earning a second degree in Electrical Engineering, and graduate school could be in the future.

Maddie Clark is an Aerospace Engineering senior also highly involved with AIAA. She is its current Vice President, and has been an E-Week Representative and Public Relations officer in the past. She is both one of Florida Tech’s Student Ambassadors, Resident Assistants, and Panther Prep Leaders.  Maddie has been a member of the women’s crew team for four years.  She has done some undergraduate research for Space Sciences and is a member of the Geophysics Lab and SWE. Originally from Franconia, New Hampshire, Maddie would like to pursue advanced degrees in Space Sciences and Aerospace Engineering or join the Air Force to become a test pilot; both roads are aimed at eventually becoming an astronaut.

Patti Ferraro is a Meteorology senior originally from Montville, New Jersey. She plans to go on to graduate school for Meteorology or Broadcasting. She has been a student member of the American Meteorological Society and Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society for three years, and has recently been broadcasting the weather on 89.5 WFIT.  Resume

Christoper Han is originally from Miami, Florida. An Electrical Engineering junior, he is a member of the InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, Newman Club, and IEEE. His planned graduation date is in May 2004.

Joseph Pearce is a Computer/Electrical Engineering Freshman from Ocala, Florida. He enjoys the beach, tennis and playing with technology. Joseph is a member of the IEEE and holds multiple certifications with various organizations. After completing his double major in Computer and Electrical Engineering, he plans to go into Quantum Physics. His ultimate goal is to become a Quantum Processor Engineer.  Resume

Andy Sokol is an Aerospace Engineering senior also from Montville, New Jersey. He plans to pursue a Masters degree in Space Systems.  He is an active member of many campus clubs and organizations such as AIAA, Phi Eta Sigma, and Bowling Club (President).  He was also recently inducted into the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society, and has enjoyed summer jobs for both Florida Space Research Institute and NASA.  His ultimate goal is to become an astronaut.
